What is the dress code?
All guests are asked to attend in formal attire.
What will the weather be like?
October in Vermont can range from warm (70s) to chilly (40s). Please be sure to check the weather for Stratton closer to our wedding as the ceremony itself will be outside. The cocktail hour and reception will be indoors.
Is there a wedding registry?
The grooms have not put together a wedding registry. Wedding gifts may be sent to the grooms prior to or gifted to the grooms during the reception.
Are there accommodations for children and/or pets?
Your children are invited to celebrate with us. The venue will offer a separate meal option for children, but there will be no additional accommodations. The Stratton Resort rooms at the Black Bear Lodge are pet friendly for guests who would like to bring their pets. However, pets will not be allowed at the ceremony, cocktail hour, or reception.
Are there accommodations for those with mobility issues?
With the exception of the ceremony site, all activities will take place at the Black Bear Lodge which has accessible parking. While the ceremony site is reachable on foot from the Black Bear lodge, guests may also drive between the locations as there is also accessible parking near the gondola house which will take guests directly to the ceremony site.
